Just wondering what those of us with a key already should be doing to acquire the mac version?

Are there system requirements for the Mac version? (The Steam page isn't showing any yet.) I'd love to buy, but I'm on an older MacBook with a 2.13GHz core 2 duo, which seems below the PC requirements...

@gelfman, If it is an Impulse key, you can enter it into Steam and it should work, else, just email us your key and we will send you a Steam key to get you up and running for the Mac.

@RedMedicine, I have no definitive answer, but My MBP is 2.5 ghz and it eats SPAZ for breakfast, so I think you will be ok. Since SPAZ is not mult threaded, having extra cores won't really help anyway.

Hey, it works! Awesome game, guys - I've been itching for a new space shooter, and I'm really enjoying SPAZ, so far.

For those who don't know how...

1. open steam
2. from the menu bar select Games -> Activate a Product On Steam
3. enter the key you were previously issued (on Impulse)
4. profit :-)

I have a late-2007 Macbook, and I think it has a 2.13 Ghz Core 2 Duo. If not, it's something close. I found to my surprise that SPAZ runs quite well. I'm still at the very beginning of the game, so it may have issues later in the game when there are more things flying around, but for now it's quite smooth. I'm quite pleased, since I use my Mac laptop far more than my Windows desktop. In fact, I think it's been over a year now since I last started up the desktop.

We have actually listed some requirements on Steam now (sorry about that) OSX 10.5.8 compatibility is coming very soon too!

Here shouldn't be any issues. If you do, head here and report it. They will sort it out so fast, it makes light look slow *end hyperbole*. So far there hasn't been any reported issues since MLs release and all the repeatable CTDs have been resolved with most issues confined to 10.6.8.

Thanks for the vote of confidence oohhboy :)

Yup, Richard picked up a copy of 10.8.0 (Mountain Lion) and SPAZ ran quite well. So we are good from 10.5.8->10.8.0
