Hi Everyone,

First off, sorry that we have been less active on the board this week. There are two competing reasons. One, Diablo 3, and the second is that the Mac port is almost done. Richard and I are testing and bugfixing as well as sending reports to our porting contact so we have been away more than we would like.

The upside is the game runs very well on the Mac so far. We will keep you all updated, but things are looking good!

It will be exactly the same. Since the scripting language is not platform specific, Mac, PC, and someday Linux mods will be interchangeable.

You should have just made a linux one from the start. Linux is compatible with the other two nice and easy... just not the other way around.
Although I understand starting with windows since I only do programs aimed at windows. Just aim for the biggest market. :)

Will the mac version ever come?!?
I bought the game in beta but was never able to play it, and now it has been about a year!

We apologize for the delay with the Mac. It is actually done now and has gone through as run of testing by us and it performing very well. There is one bug that recently cropped up with the mod tools on the Mac that is being fixed, and then we will contact Steam and begin distribution. We will also sell on our site as well as the app store if we can.

Your original key will work on the Mac version as well.

We will also do one of our media bursts. So the Facebook page, twitter and RSS feed will get an update. We will also try to get a little press, but that can be pretty random.

Just a heads up. We have uploaded our first release candidate for the Mac to Steam now :)

This means we now start compatibility testing, which should not take long, and then release.

I know! We are all ready to release now and we are just waiting to hear back from Steam to flip the switch. Sorry for the delay. It is done at least, just sitting in the release hopper now.

Steam takes for ever to do the simplest things... I play a mod of a hl2 and it takes several days for them to let an update go through.

Congrats on the release. I have posted bug thread in the bug forum. Nothing lethal thankfully. The number of bugs should be few so i have setup a mega thread to keep them all in one place to make it easier for other Mac users to find it. If there aren't too many bugs I will try and keep the OP updated with progress and workarounds.
