Grab the preview of the modding tools here:

http://spacepiratesandzombies.com/freeFiles/SPAZ_Mod_Package.zip

We will be adding this to the updates page once the modding patch goes live, but you guys can take an early look and dive in a bit :)

There is a lot to read and wrap your heads around.

How will the modding tools be pushed to the steam version users?
Part of the game? Using the tools section of steam. (like the source SDK) Somehow else?

Just wondering.

Oh everyone will grab them here for now and just add them into their install directory. I am looking at the Steam Workshop right now though to streamline this more, but in reality, it is as easy as copying a directory.

Just reading through all the posts here and on Steam, I am wondering if the general consensus is that the new BH content is too hard?

Lol, man took me a sec to find the spam. Now what to do. Do you guys mind if I delete your emails mentioning the spam as well so I can expunge it completely?

How about you appoint a few moderators (you know who want to :p), so you don't have to worry about those sentient bots and kitchen salesmen who really are waiting in line in front of the damn airlock.

I had my laugh, so sure. Though i still think it would be funny to archive these somewhere.

And i agree with GTX - You could use some moderators to kick out the bots

I lurk here damn often enough to take care of any bot that comes by. About twice a day, 9 hours or so apart, every day. I have the "see new posts" on my Faves Bar for fast access. Lurking is kinda my profession.

ViroMan has been asking Modding permits for longer, but just know that I check up on the forums regularly as it is; making me a mod wouldn't complicate my life in any way.

Though if enough people want the thread to stick around long enough so that they complain about it, I might make a brief exception. :D

wow, you all respond fast, I will give you that :) I will discuss this with Richard as the website is mostly his baby and my powers don't extend much beyond the ability to delete posts and spammers.

That's because we prowl these forums on a combined 24/7 basis. :p
When one isn't around, you can bet another IS.

Heck yes. My active times extend two hours on either side of the current time, plus another 3 hours starting... 7 or 8 hours from now. During that time, I check several forums for new posts, so I'll always see if someone has posted ANYTHING in ANY CORNER of the forums.

I have set Speed Dial on my Mozilla Firefox, with "http://www.spacepiratesandzombies.com/forums/search.php?search_id=unreadposts" as 1 of the screens with automatic refresh every hour, so whenever i open a new tab, i see if anyone has written anything before the auto-refresh, i can also manually refresh it.

I don't know if ppl still read this thread or if the BH system has had a change (been playing the current version since it came out) but I (am on normal and) have never had a problem with the BHs, every time they show up I just decimate them, perhaps I will pay them off one day, but for now, they are no threat to me. *insert maniacal laughter? lol
