I got this response from Impulse:

I talked to our support team. If new users purchase the game through the PayPal option instead of the Checkout button on the shopping cart page, the purchase goes to the email address associated with their PayPal account. There is a warning right next to the button that people often don't read. :) http://screencast.com/t/zmY3sT2lGWR

To resolve the issue either:

1 - If its a new user that doesn't have an Impulse account yet they'll just need to make their Impulse account using the same email address associated with their PayPal account.

or

2 - If the user already has an Impulse account under a different email address, they can use the account tool transfer tool to associate the game to the proper email address/account. The tool is found here: http://www.stardock.com/support/registrations/


Following these steps should make things go more smoothly.

my paypal account email is the same as my impulse account email.

got the paypal confirmation email like instantly. nothing else since
18:19 german time.

nothing since

20:25 now and getting really annoyed :/

Just load your impulse client, I didn't receive an email (and i purchased 4 hours ago) but the game showed up in the impulse client.

If you're not receiving the receipt emails, please check your spam filters to ensure it's not being incorrectly flagged as spam.

Ok since this is Impulse related I'll outright ask it.


Impulse will not run on my laptop for some reason.
I think it may have corrupted key dlls that might require me to reinstall windows, I am not reinstalling an OS and compromising years of data for just one program.

Is there anyway I can get access to a copy of the beta build if I provide proof of purchase, say the email receipt impulse has sent me?

Currently SPAZ needs to be activated through Impulse, but if you hold on to your Key for a couple weeks we will also be joining other distributors using a build that can be activated outside Impulse. This should resolve the issue, but you will need to wait until we get some contract issues sorted out.

How long does paypal take to transfer into bank account? Paypal says the transfer was completed, but the money still isn't in my account.

this is a pretty old thread, can you give me some back story on your question? I am not sure if you are having an activation problem.
