Hey, took a long time, but here it is.

After plaything the game since I bought it in a humble bundle WAY back, I have finally managed to find something that upsets me with it (took long enough eh? :)). I am doing an escort mission for some civies and don't want to lower relations with UTA (because I recently found that I could not bribe them when they "hate" me and I want some warpgate/tech they have). Anyway what upsets me is this, the ship I am escorting is literally *inside* my ship, like i cannot move with out it being *in* me. So it is constantly hitting me with its weapons while firing at the UTA, if i try to shoot the UTA I hit the civies, then they don't like me. What I would like is a "parley" function where I could say I wasn't trying to hit them, perhaps by offering a bit of rez, and not have them go down in relations with me or attack me, making me defend myself and loose relations even more.

Now I love how easy it is to do friendly fire in this game, it kinda fits in with its core and is part of its charm. But it would be nice if you could click "add faction" or something in the tactical menu to disable it for a mission. Not only for the above mentioned scenario but also for when I have a zombie outside my ship, and the friendly AI decides to nuke the zombie using EXTREMELY powerful weapons, decimating my shields -- or worse.

I realize it may not be of a concern for you in this game any more, but perhaps something to consider for SPAZ2 at the very least.

Thanks! :D
Great game.

Love to hear your thoughts.
