I like the automatic turret but I hate it when I have a Suicide Cannon on a turret and it automatically sends all my goons on the first enemy ship I see. I would like to control the turret AI to be able to only shoot incoming missiles and not attack enemy ships.

I would like to create this mods myself if it does not already exists but I'm not sure where to start. The most useful documentation I found was "Modding Tutorial" on the wiki but the link for the toolkit gives me a 404.

Anyone can help me with this ? Thank you

You can probably use the same settings that the current point defense uses and give it a different look.

Good idea. I'll look into that, but I don't think I will be able to use the Y key to switch the auto/manual mode. The ideal solution would be to add a 3th mode, so the Y key would switch between manual/missile defence/auto .

You could turn of the turret AI from the extra settings button.

What I meant is that I don't think I will be able to switch the mode (manual/auto) at all if I copy the point defense.
Does anybody know where the file for the point defense is ?

Did you look in the mod 2.0 tools package?

Yes, I finally found it. At first I was looking for a file named PointDefense but it is in the SubSystems file.

I don't think I will be able to do want I want though. I did not find a way to toggle an a state (automatic/manual). I looked at the beams but since they can have different state ( automatic/manual ) but I didn't find anything relating to that. I don't think it is accessible in the mods.
