Hi Everyone,

This forum should be used to report bugs with the modding system and to make feature requests.

If there is a part of the game that you would like to have exposed to modding, please request it here, and we will try to add the functionality.

Bug fixing will take priority of course, but hopefully there aren't too many :)

You have no idea how much I love you now, Mr. Blorfy.

On a side note... the ability to mess with the UI!

I have a feeling this section is being used incorrectly, according to your description.

We're asking questions and making requests in here, although there haven't really been any complaints about it from anyone. So I suppose it's either not a problem or that requests in general are allowed here.

I think that this section should either have a title change to reflect FEATURE requests and bugs, or just that this thread is changed to reflect allowing other sorts of requests and stuff.

Could you release a list of what ships are which and which weapons are which for each file, to avoid confusion. Swapping Ranger and Scout or Freighter and Carrier around isn't a huge issue but trying to figure out what the Mole is, and realizing later that its supposed to be Grasshopper...

Better yet, comments could be inserted in the source code for the next update.

Can we get access to a plugin or something so we can save are images as .SPZ file? because I try to add new ships by using the mod tool but every-time I do it I keep getting white square boxes on every ship on the main menu then the whole thing crashes then close down, or a better way for the game to actually read the mod properly? thanks.

Well. I HAVE on this forum a Paint.Net plugin that allows you to OPEN a .spz file. (NOT save :? )
But frankly. These are just renamed .png's. No more.

So when saving you will be perfectly fine when saving them as .png files.
(As an extra step on top you could then rename that .png to .spz)

does that mean I have to re-name it in the ships_human.cs as well?

ships_human.cs actually takes the .png name, regardless if you named your file with .png or .spz.

So "MyShip.spz" Can be represented in ships_human.cs with "MyShip.png".
While "MyShip2.png" can/will also be represented in ships_human.cs by "MyShip2.png".

Maybe your issue with white boxes+crashing isn't about saving but more about default file permissions.
Is your SPAZ install in C:\Program Files (x86)\"etc"\"etc"\ or C:\Program Files\"etc"\"etc"\?
