I have no such location. My SPAZ files are in the steam folder, and there is no b_settings folder.

That said, I still dragged that file into space pirates and zombies. I then ran the game to get the same black screen, BUT the screen shot you gave me allowed me to grope around less blindly till I select compatability mode and started the game.

So there we go. Look forward to playing.

That would be my assumption. It was what my first idea was reading this thread, but without that screen shot I had no idea how.

When I try to play the game it crashes to the desktop with an invalid hull error.

See attached console file.

Something is wrong with your "game/gameScripts/ShipClass.cs" file, maybe something involving ' '

Agreed, this looks like a bad install. Likely a corrupted script. If you re-install it should resolve. Through Steam I would uninstall and reinstall (not just verify file integrity) since SPAZ is only 150megs or so, it should be a fast download.

Can I ask about the Hangar GUI Resolution here?
If I can, please tell me how to change the size/resolution of the Hangar view board? I've tried change .spz image resolution, but won't work. I've found a related script file, but can't do anything because it's not raw script...
If I can not ask about this problem here, please move this post into the correct topic. I've created a topic to ask about this here:
