Hi!

Disclaimer: I have a windows 7 gaming desktop. I'm asking this more out of curiosity.

Has anyone tried running this w/ Wine? I have a MacBook and wouldn't mind playing it on the go.

If not, I'll update this after I give it a shot. Like I said, I have a Windows 7 machine to game on, this would just be a bonus.

It's a windows emulator. It'll let you run some (not all) windows software on *nix based OSes (linux, unix) and mac OS X.

WINE is a Windows API for Linux based operating systems. Using it you can install Direct-x and many other Windows APIs that allow you to run games and programs natively.

If the SPAZ team checks it out and decides to make SPAZ work well with WINE, it will make the Windows version of the game run on Linux/Apple OS-X(UNIX compatible). This will save on development costs and time.
